The days are getting longer and the 2010 Festival is getting closer. The Early Bird special is ending soon, so register now for your place this year!
This year's instruction will be based on three tracks: Beginner/Intermediate, Intermediate/Advanced and Master. The levels are designed to offer instruction that provides a positive experience for people with different backgrounds and different goals.
Anyone may register for either of the first two levels. However the instructors will have the option of suggesting a different level. If you want to register for the Masters level you will have to provide a note from one of our instructors or participate in tryouts Saturday morning.
If you're unsure of which level is appropriate for you, you can come to the tryouts and let our instructors suggest a level or feel free to ask an instructor before you arrive at class.
A brief Description of each level follows below.

This level quickly progresses from the foundations of blues dancing through more challenging techniques and partnering skills.
This level is not about advanced styling; it is about becoming more comfortable on the dance floor. You will explore different types of blues music and blues dance styles. Expect to learn some cool moves and find new ways of looking better on the dance floor and feeling better when you dance.
For the more experienced blues dancer. This level presumes significant blues dancing experience. This level is about styling - becoming a better partner and expanding your repertoire of "blues moves."

For the blues dancer who "has everything," this level will offer you a chance to grow musically, technically and as a partner. Audition or instructor recommendation required.
