TIcket Prices

This year we ticket prices will start on a sliding scale with the lowest tier dropping off after the first Monday of each month.
Alongside our regular tiers, we will also sell a limited number of Subsidized Passes at a much lower rate for those who might not otherwise be able to afford our event. As we reach budget goals we may increase the number of available Subsidized Passes.
If you are unable to afford our event, reach out to volunteer@steelcityblues.com and we’d love to work with you to find a way to subsidize your pass in exchange for help making our event run!

Volunteering – Help make this ship sail!

Make some cash while helping the event run smoothly. The tasks are simple, but the volunteers allow the event to happen.

Time slots will be scheduled and confirmed by our Volunteer Coordinator before the event. In scheduling volunteers, preference is given to those registered and paid for the full weekend pass.

Direct any volunteering questions to volunteer@steelcityblues.com .

Parent Pass

New this year, we are offering Parent Passes!

A parent pass may be shared between two caregivers who would both love to attend the event, but share childcare duties. The pass allows for two adults to share one ticket, so that the other may take care of their child. One parent must register, and then email registration@steelcityblues.com with the subject line, “Parent Pass” and the name of both parents registering for the event.

For all questions concerning kids and Steel City Blues, please email amelia.oleander@steelcityblues.com

Housing

If you have any other housing questions, shoot a message to our Housing Coordinator at housing@steelcityblues.com

Out-of-towners, come enjoy our famous Pittsburgh hospitality! Sign up for housing and make your housing requests during the online registration process. Any changes to your housing information can be made by logging back into the registration site. You must register and pay by February 22 in order to be eligible for housing. Expect a survey end of February to collect your housing preferences.

Pittsburghers, please offer to host our traveling guests! Sign up to be a host at the registration site. (No, you don’t have to register for the weekend in order to be a host!)

All you need to provide as a host is floor space to sleep on, and access to a bathroom and shower. Dance Karma shines on people who chose to host, and hosts have been known to receive free hugs and eternal gratitude in return for their generosity.

Fun Housing Facts:

  • Register early! Housing is first come, first served, until all housing options are filled.
  • You must have a full weekend pass to be eligible for housing.
  • Your housing request will only be accommodated once we receive your registration payment.
  • Make sure you contact your host or guests in advance to find out more details about accommodation (Should I bring an air mattress? Will I be on the couch?), travel plans, and just to say hi!
